The Consequence of Suppression: A Stronger Police Force does not Equal Less Crime

The other day I watched the movie Chappie. There was one scene that really caught my attention.

The city (and the premise of the movie) was based on the fact that the crime rate in this South African city was outrageous… 300 murders were happening everyday, people were being robbed, many civilians and policemen were being harmed, and the police force in place was not sufficient to handle the situation.

So then robots are created as part of the law enforcement department. Less causalities on the police side, as well as crime rates were dramatically going down.

*Spoiler Alert*

Then, mid-way through the movie- the robot police force gets hacked and a firewall gets put in, which basically stops them from working. The city is left without the robotic defense and all of a sudden, in one moment of this becoming common knowledge in the city – there is an uproar and the people take to the streets; riots ensue, there is burning of buildings, and stores, and homes. There is one scene shot from the sky as if in a helicopter, showing the drama happening in the downtown area, and it’s just like mad men finally set loose that have been caged for years. The destruction is over the top.

And this is what caught my attention. The consequence of suppression.

The crime in the city was suppressed through a robotic police force. There was no understanding of WHY people were acting the way they were or what causes it was stemming from. It was just simply accepted that as ‘human nature’ and attempted to force control and suppression onto the city and the people as a way of dealing with the situation.

And what happens when that control and suppression is removed? That which was attempted to be put down, smothered, in fact was slowing building, and getting bigger, and accumulating to the point where there is this so over the top acting out of dysfunctional behavior. The crime becomes much worse after the robot police fail to work, than before they were ever implemented.

And what does this reveal? 

Suppression or attempting to force control onto a situation such as high crime in a city does not work, as it does not sort/root out the REAL PROBLEM.

Which is also embedded throughout the whole move.

Money.

The lack of Money causes crime.

People commit crimes for money.

The desire for Money cause one to rob each other, to murder each other, to steal and abuse each other. 

All for the money.

Now, after seeing this, that this is what happens when one suppresses a problem, the solution seemed clear.

How about instead of creating a robotic police force, such as the scenario in the movie to be a solution to more and more crime, or a more military-like police force that enforces it’s mechanical hand onto the people - creating fear to control... one give the people the proper financial support to take care of their basic needs. 

Have a look - what would you be willing to do to ensure your own survival? Can you really condemn those that are stealing, lying, and cheating for more money so they can have a place to stay for the night, or to provide themselves something to eat? Have you put yourself in their shoes? What options are available?

Living Income.

A dignified living income, where if one finds themselves in a financial hard time, or in between jobs, or in a place where robbery or even murder come up as a potential option to make it through another day, they instead have the safety net of a living income. That is preventing crime as being an option for survival, as well as dealing with the REAL problem that cause crime and abuse in this world in the first place.

Lack of Money and Desire for Money leads to greed.

In greed, there is no compassion, empathy, or standing in the shoes of another. There is only self-interest and the drive for survival.

Investigate a Living Income by the Equal Life Foundation, as the Real Solution to the Crimes of Life happening daily. We don't need robots. We don't need stronger police forces. We don't need to attempt to control and suppress the problems manifesting daily at an exponential rate. We need to love and give to each other as we would love and give to ourselves. 

Let's stop suppressing, and trying to control ourselves and each other - let's root out the real problems and begin to address and heal the real issues we ALL face. 

2012 No More Cockfighting in an Equal Money System

Common Sense. Place yourself in the shoes of another - of anything here in this reality - and ask yourself - would you want to be put into a ring to fight/kill another being for the sake of someone's pleasure and greed?

If you answered no - then cool, you have taken your first step into standing equal to what is here.

If you answered yes - or I don't care - then it's time to become self honest. Because to accept and allow cockfighting within this Reality - to accept and allow any sort of abuse, where we are unable to stand in the shoes of another and ask ourselves in self honesty if we could live like that or experience that - and this is including ALL life - ALL beings - ALL expressions that are of this Earth - if you cannot stand equal in their place - then it's suggested we find a solution where any one of us can trade places with any other being here and still live a life of dignity.

This includes roosters.

The current reality is that we use these roosters for our own self interest pleasures and greed. We call putting two roosters into a 'ring' so that they will fight until one of them is dead or terribly injured - a sport. To humans this is entertainment. WTF?

Some advocate that it is 'tradition' to have cockfights - as they have been around for generations. Places in the world still allow cockfights because of this reason. Many have banned the sport - but they still exist. Yet - to justify this 'sport' because it was what was accepted and allowed to happen in the past - is absolutely insane and just goes to show how we are not evolving and learning from our mistakes - but are actually cycling the same patterns and behaviors that allow separation within this world.

And it is unacceptable. It is because we as humans see ourselves as superior to these beings that we can make them do things that are not in the best interest of them - but we will make some kind of profit off of it. This is dishonest as we are not considering them as life - equal with ourselves.

If anything - this goes to show how little humanity actually care. What is reveals is that Humanity cares about entertainment and gambling and sport. Humanity does not care if a being suffers - or if a being dies, as long as humans are kept busy and distracted and excited within competition and wanting to win. Humanity has no humanity.

In an Equal Money System - cockfighting would no longer exist. As we will no longer bet money on chances of winning more of the resource we need to survive - we would no longer allow money to be more valuable then life.

We would no longer consider the unnecessary death of any life form on this Earth acceptable - because in an Equal Money System - we will be placed in a point to become self honest and ask ourselves - what the fuck have we accepted and allowed? How can we justify our greed - how can we justify our lack of consideration of any life? How have we become so violent in nature within ourselves that we make animals fight to the death for our amusement. Don't we care?

In an Equal Money System we will realize the absurdity of cockfighting and will have to forgive ourselves, as we will see the truth of what has been allowed to exist. Our greed for more money and to exist within competition of each other - with the desire to be on top as the winner - will no longer be necessary. It will no longer be relevant, as we will live equally with each other - and other life as the animal kingdom and with earth itself. We will wake up to the abuse we have been existing within and will stop our madness.

An Equal Money System will end cockfighting. And any act that does not support what is best for all and allows abuse within Life.

No School = No School Lunches... Donate to feed the Children!?!

While on my way home from work today - a commercial on the radio came on - it was for Bremer Bank.

The commercial was advertising how more children will go hungry this summer, simply because of the fact that school is now out, and the school's lunch the children were dependent on was no longer being provided.

Their solution? To have people donate money and they would match the dollar amount, but only to $50,000. They said, "Our way of Fighting Hunger" and "This is our Action to Stop Hunger".

They say this keeps Hope for the End of Hunger.

Really? Sounds like they are just putting on a band-aid on the cut that is much deeper. What is required is to become Honest with ourselves and see that the Reason Starvation and Hunger exists - is because Food, as a basic necessity for LIFE, is not being provided. We allow a System of Abuse - Where if you don't have Money - you don't get to eat. Yet, the resources are provided unconditionally from the Earth.

Donating Money and giving to Charities - Does not Solve the Problem of why People... CHILDREN are starving in the First Place. It's because of an economic System that says Money is more valuable in Life.

I think we can ALL Agree that this is Unacceptable! And to attempt to "give back" without considering the Cause is useless and is only an attempt to make our selves feel better for the simple fact that we KNOW this is unacceptable. We know it doesn't have to be this way.

Looking at it even Closer - What a Fuck Up! A Bank using Hunger - People that are starving - as a way to advertise for their bank - so that they get more customers/clients. There is a word for this - and it escapes me at the Moment - but this is downright Evil!
(The word just came to me - EXPLOITATION)
We exploit Children of Hunger for our own Profit and Gains.

In an Equal Money System - Children, parents, All People would be considered Equally Valuable as Life - therefore we would not need Donations or Charities to 'do our part'. We will have done our part - and that is ensuring and providing all the basic necessities of Life.

We will no longer abuse those that suffer for our own gain.

We would be actually Giving a Damn about each other.

Time to Consider an Equal Money System - and the End of Hunger.
